Scilab 5.4.0 adopts a new environment and thus provides Scilab users greater ease of use.
The discovery of new functionalities and navigation become intuitive. Help pages are enriched with examples of use which are directly executable in Scilab and Xcos, graphics rendering, etc., and are available in more languages. For Windows users, there is no more need to be the machine administrator to install Scilab.
