Release of Scilab 5.4.0 beta-1

Scilab 5.4.0-beta 1 is a test version provided to the community.

This version includes:

• Scilab Desktop which allows the user to save and restore his Scilab windows configuration,
• XML file reading and writing functionalities,
• Internal improvement of Scilab graphics, aiming at fixing graphics card portability issues, which provides faster and better 2-D and 3-D plotting and improved export features,
• Scilab preferences (unique interface to configure Scilab and its modules)
• New Scilab file format called Scilab Open Data format (SOD)
